At the beginning of 2021, law firm leaders were hoping for a return to in-person retreats, while preparing for the likelihood of virtual ones. The thinking for 2022 has changed somewhat, but not to the point of guaranteeing full in-person summits. 

After the optimism of spring 2021 turned into the disappointment of the summer—as the delta variant and lagging vaccination rates prolonged the pandemic—optimism appears to be back en vogue.
