Former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission senior attorney Sarah Heaton Concannon has joined Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan’s Washington, D.C., office and will co-chair the firm’s SEC enforcement practice alongside firm partner Michael Liftik.

Concannon spent the last five years at the SEC and left in September after serving two years as senior trial counsel. Before she joined the SEC, she spent roughly 14 years at Goodwin Procter, where she was an equity partner.
