Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has added former Cravath, Swaine & Moore of counsel Nicole Foster as a partner in New York, where she will co-lead the firm’s employee benefits and compensation practice with current co-chairs Lori Goodman and Maj Vaseghi.

Foster was at Cravath for 18 years. She has known Goodman, who joined Freshfields from Latham & Watkins in March 2020, for several years and said that personal relationship played a role in her making the move.
