Now that a flurry of large law firm names has signed on to defend the NFL and others in Brian Flores’ high-profile racial discrimination suit, plaintiffs attorney Douglas Wigdor doesn’t appear phased.

He said he’s learned some lessons litigating against Big Law, including how to navigate litigation when the defense moves slow and has “too many cooks.” Meanwhile, a look at Wigdor’s past cases against large firms shows many suits that made a big splash were settled privately before trial, like most civil litigation.
