Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes has picked up a bankruptcy leader from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, Kurt Mayr, boosting one of its bread-and-butter offerings.

His move comes as law firms are using a quieter period in the practice to stock up on talent. Meanwhile, bankruptcy partners such as Mayr say it’s easier to move now, rather than wait until rising interest rates this year make bankruptcy work surge. Among other bankruptcy moves this month, DLA Piper added partner Oksana Lashko from Brown Rudnick and ArentFox Schiff brought on partner Jeffrey Gleit from Sullivan & Worcester.
