Milbank has lured John Beahn, who was head of Shearman & Sterling's practice of Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and foreign direct investment. He is Milbank's first full-time CFIUS partner.
Beahn, who had been at Shearman for a little over two years, will be based out of the firm's Washington, D.C., office.
