Paul Hastings has made headlines more than once over the last few weeks for bringing on an impactful lateral group from a competitor, especially in the financial services space. In April, the firm lured a 43-person restructuring team from Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. In May, the firm picked up a three-partner energy transition group from Shearman & Sterling. Earlier this month, a team from specialist financial services firm Buckley arrived.
