Midwest Am Law 100 firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister has added eight lawyers and four staff after leaders at a Chicago transactional boutique decided they needed to be absorbed into a larger firm's platform in order to keep their practice competitive.
Leaders at RM Partners Law said their firm ceased business operations Tuesday, the day before eight of their 12 attorneys resumed practice at Taft's office on Chicago's East Wacker Drive, which now houses more than 150 professionals.
