It’s been five years since Roberta Kaplan left Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison to form a litigation boutique with three other lawyers. The firm now has 47 lawyers, and by year’s end, the boutique will have grown to 60 lawyers, its founders say. 

The growth comes as its client engagements have been growing. The firm has worked with the NCAA on gender equity issues, handled Securities and Exchange Commission compliance monitorship, and is preparing for a multibillion-dollar arbitration involving a contract dispute between large multinational companies, the firm said.
