With competition fierce as ever, a Chicago law firm is changing its name and reorganizing as a women-owned business, saying the change reflects both the culture of the firm and a desire to stand out to clients and talent.

Croke Fairchild Morgan & Beres has changed its name to Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres, the firm said Tuesday. Firm leaders Jessica Fairchild and Lisa Duarte now hold a majority stake and co-chair the firm’s management committee, leading the firm’s direction.
