Cooley, aspiring to build a "top-tier" Chapter 11 practice while keeping up its growth in Chicago, has added a partner in its business restructuring and reorganization group from Perkins Coie.
The firm this week said it hired Chicago-based Eric Walker, who boasts a full-service bankruptcy, restructuring and commercial litigation practice, along with a focus on the health care industry.
