After two consecutive weeks of relatively strong showings in the deal world, last week brought us back to a familiar refrain for 2022: a very light week for deals. 

Vinson & Elkins; Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz; Sidley Austin; and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher all touched the largest deal of the week, a $4.7 billion take-private effort that saw Omega Acquisitions acquire Oklahoma-based Continental Resources from founder Harold Hamm.
