As the country prepares for what is by many accounts considered to be a particularly turbulent midterm election Tuesday, law firms with offices in the nation’s capital are preparing to counsel clients through whatever political and regulatory environment comes next.

Political pundits are forecasting at least a change of leadership in the House of Representatives, if not also the Senate, although Democrats still have paths to victory in both houses.
