Martin Weinstein, the chair of Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s compliance and enforcement practice, has left to join Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where he will become its compliance, investigations and enforcement practice head.

The firm is also adding his longtime practice partner Jeffrey Clark. Both attorneys will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.  Their move comes in the same week that Cadwalader added another partner team from a rival, when a four-partner leveraged finance team from King & Spalding joined on February 1.
