Barnes & Thornburg, with new offices in New Jersey and Philadelphia, triple-digit realization rates and growth in signature practices, increased revenue 5.8% to about $608.8 million last year, while profits per equity partner fell 3.9%.

With head count growing about 5% to 691 lawyers, the firm’s revenue per lawyer rose a little more than a half percentage point to $881,000. The Indianapolis-headquartered firm characterized it as a strong year, pointing to demand growth, despite the PEP hit down to about $1.17 million.
