Paul Hastings, still growing in a difficult year in Big Law, saw revenue rise 6% to $1.67 billion last year, while increasing profits per equity partner by 4% to hit $4.89 million, a new firm high. 

The firm’s PEP rise came amid a nearly 8% drop in its equity ranks, down to 163 partners. Meanwhile, the firm’s nonequity tier expanded 28% to 123 partners, as the firm added dozens of partners last year.
