A focus on work for private capital, such as hedge funds, private equity funds, specialty finance and private debt, allowed Schulte Roth & Zabel to turn a down year for the legal industry into 8.1% revenue growth for the law firm, pushing it over the $500 million mark for the first time. 

The firm had $509.40 million in revenue in 2022, surpassing its previous high of $471.36 million set in 2021. The firm also saw its revenue per lawyer jump 8.1% to $1.49 million. The firm’s net income jumped 7% to $249.8 million.
