Legal recruiters and the partners they place have long pined for a standardized questionnaire to submit to prospective law firms in order to streamline the screening process for candidates and reduce redundant steps.
Now, the leading trade group for legal recruiters has unveiled a "universal" lateral partner questionnaire (U-LPQ), seeking to set an industry standard for screening prospective lateral partners, give or take any jurisdiction-specific modifications.
