Clients of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith have been switching representation during a tumultuous two months for the firm.

Lewis Brisbois’ home county of Los Angeles has cut ties with the firm following the release of emails showing the use of derogatory language by former leaders of the firm’s employment practice. A number of clients have also agreed to transfer files previously handled by Lewis Brisbois to Barber Ranen, a firm founded by those employment practice leaders that has since rebranded to Daugherty Lordan.
