This chart ranks Am Law 200 firms by their pro bono score for work performed by U.S.-based lawyers. Half of the score comes from the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer in 2022; the other half represents the percentage of ­lawyers who performed more than 20 hours of pro bono work. Calculations are based on lawyer counts as of Dec. 31, 2022, which, given attorney hires, means a firm could achieve more than 100% of lawyers who achieved more than 20 hours of pro bono work in the year.
