As Big Law firms establish teams dedicated to advising employers on their DEI practices amid rising scrutiny from conservative lawmakers and activists, the plaintiffs in recent discrimination lawsuits targeting DEI policies indicate they're just getting started in their effort to end race-conscious policies at private companies.

Earlier this month, a group called the American Alliance for Equal Rights (AAER) sued the Fearless Fund on grounds of racial discrimination after the fund, owned by three Black women, launched a program that would award $20,000 grants to Black women business owners.
