Eight associates have exited Kirkland & Ellis’ debt finance team in London to join Neel Sachdev in his widely-publicized move to Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, according to people with knowledge of the moves. 

The exits are the latest stage of a wider play by Paul Weiss for Kirkland talent. In the space of just a few weeks, the firm has engaged in an aggressive hiring spree on Kirkland, raiding its competitor for 12 big-name partners, as well as more recently adding Linklaters partner Will Aitken-Davies.
