After 10 years at the helm, David Greenwald will step down as chair of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in early 2024 as he heads toward retirement, sources familiar with the events say.

While the firm still needs to vote on some changes, it appears likely that asset management partner Kenneth Rosh will step in as the firm’s new chair, and M&A and private equity partner Steven Epstein will assume managing partner duties, sources said. Scott Luftglass, a litigation partner, will take over as vice chair. All three are based in New York.
