Amid more optimism in the deal market, Latham & Watkins has added two partners in emerging companies work on the West Coast from Cooley.
The No. 2-ranked firm in the Am Law 100 said Tuesday that it added Seth Gottlieb, a former co-chair of Cooley's global emerging companies and venture capital practice group, as well as partner Alex Kassai in the Bay Area, with firm leaders saying Latham is "laser-focused" on tech and life sciences as high-growth areas.
