Kirkland & Ellis broke another law firm record, crossing the $7 billion mark in 2023 and notching 10.6% revenue growth to gross $7.208 billion, thanks in large part to countercyclical demand that included an uptick in restructuring, diversified funds business and strong litigation.

Kirkland also continued to improve its profit margin, as net income soared nearly 13% to $4.288 billion and average profits per equity partner rose nearly 6% to $7.955 million, according to American Lawyer reporting.
