Below there are 247 firms ranked by their Women in Law score, based on the percentages of women attorneys overall, and in partnership and leadership ranks, at each firm. In terms of scores, the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 firms maintain their standing, though there was some reordering beyond that point.

The Women in Law Scorecard, traditionally published in tandem with the National Law Journal’s NLJ 500 ranking of the largest firms by attorney headcount in the U.S., is being published for the first time this year as part of The American Lawyer’s Diversity Scorecard—and going forward, the Diversity, Women in Law and LGBTQ+ scorecards will be released annually as a single package.
