A group of nine Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry tax lawyers, including five shareholders, has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Houston, as the firm continues to build out its 3-month-old Texas office.

The lawyers moved to Nelson Mullins’ tax controversy practice. Juan Vasquez Jr. and Peter Lowy joined as partners on Monday, as did of counsel Keith Livesay and associate Tristan Montaque. In June, David Medina, David Calvillo and Stuart Clements came on board as partners, along with associates Emanuel Almarez and Tania Albuja.
