This average hours chart ranks Am Law 200 firms by the average bono hours performed by their U.S.-based lawyers in 2023. Calculations are based on lawyer counts as of Dec. 31, 2023. Of the firms ranked, nine averaged more than 100 hours per lawyer, while 105 firms achieved the industry standard of more than 20 hours on average per lawyer.
