A former counsel at Mayer Brown has filed a lawsuit against the firm over claims of disability-based discrimination.
June Liang alleges that she was “assigned less billable work and eventually fired in retaliation for requesting to be moved closer to her secretary in order to minimize physical exertion after being diagnosed with breast cancer,” according to the suit, filed Monday in the New York Supreme Court for New York County.
