Lathrop GPM is combining with a Northern California law firm, adding about 62 attorneys and about $60 million in revenue, the firm said Wednesday.

The upcoming combination with Hopkins & Carley in San Jose and Redwood Shores, California, will give Lathrop GPM, now ranked No. 169 in the Am Law 200, another outpost in the Golden State while increasing its lawyer head count by about 25%. Meanwhile, the combined firms’ revenue will be about $250 million, meaning Lathrop, which generated $192.5 million in revenue in 2023, could potentially leapfrog about 20 places in the Am Law 200.
