- Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders and Locke Lord have secured the partnership votes to ensure their long-awaited merger goes into effective Jan. 1.
- The firms first announced their intent to merge back in April, although the partnership vote was pushed back from July by delays.
- The combined firm is expected to rise into the Am Law 50, with more than $1.5 billion in combined revenue for 2023.
Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders and Locke Lord have officially agreed to move forward with their merger, effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to the results of a firmwide partnership vote held Thursday, a spokesman for the firms confirmed to The American Lawyer.
