Aviation entrepreneur Farhad Azima settled long-running hacking allegations against Dechert and two of its former partners in New York federal court Thursday, in an agreement separate from one reached in the U.K. in February that was estimated to include at least 3 million pounds in damages.

Azima filed a motion to voluntarily dismiss the Southern District of New York case, which claimed that Dechert and former partners Neil Gerrard and David Hughes engaged in a scheme to steal Azima's data on behalf of a client in order to besmirch Azima's reputation and businesses.
