This year's class of summer associates say they're especially eager to work with artificial intelligence to both familiarize themselves with the technology and gain marketable skills for the rest of their careers.

While some respondents to The American Lawyer's annual summer associate satisfaction survey said that being a guinea pig for new tech trials while also learning to practice law was overwhelming, most were enthusiastic about the chance to learn new skills and tools they expect to help them maneuver the increasingly digital legal market.
