Following the sudden resignation of Davis Wright Tremaine's managing partner in March, the firm has elected Seattle-based partner Jaime Drozd to step into the role.

The firm voted her into the position Friday afternoon after Seattle partner-in-charge Pete Johnson filled in as interim managing partner for about six months. Drozd, who has been at the firm's litigation practice for a decade, is hoping to build on the firm's existing practices to keep scaling its growth.
