Kirkland & Ellis is the latest big firm to bring on antitrust-focused legal talent from the government, adding Stephen Mohr from the Federal Trade Commission.
The hiring comes amid an uptick in demand in antitrust practices, with several big firms taking on some of the biggest antitrust battles against U.S. regulators lately. The hiring also comes amid an uptick in mergers and acquisitions deal value in 2024 compared with last year.
