Jim Walden's decision to step aside as managing partner of Walden Macht Haran & Williams had nothing to do with his political aspirations, he said on Thursday in confirming his run for New York City mayor.
"I don't know the date," the prominent litigator and trial lawyer said when asked exactly when he decided to run. "It was something like three weeks ago, maybe a little less than three weeks, maybe a little more."
