Corporate partners continue to be the highest paid in Big Law, according to a recent partner pay survey, with average yearly compensation among Am Law 200 firms nearing $2 million.

But with countercyclical practices buoying firms up and down the Am Law 200 over the last couple years, partners in a handful of other practice groups, including tax, labor and employment, real estate and litigation, have seen more pronounced increases in their annual take-home pay, suggests data from Major, Lindsey & Africa's most recent partner compensation survey.
