Stephen Cozen, the founder and chair of Am Law 100 firm Cozen O'Connor, died at 85 on Thursday of acute pneumonia, the firm said.
Cozen, known for his work on massive multidistrict litigation involving the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, founded the firm in 1970 with three additional lawyers in Philadelphia.
