Matthew Friestedt, a veteran executive compensation attorney who headed that practice at Sullivan & Cromwell as well as being a lead in the firm’s executive compensation M&A group, has moved over to Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, sources familiar with the move said Tuesday.
He will join as a partner in that firm’s exec comp practice out of New York. Paul Weiss did not return a request for comment regarding the move.
