For all of the excitement surrounding the use of artificial intelligence in the legal industry, there are understandable worries about the impact the technology will have on the practice of law.
Chief among these is the fear that new AI tools will undermine the profession’s traditional mentorship model. As new tools are able to perform tasks historically done by junior associates, some fear firms and partners will neglect to train new attorneys in foundational aspects of the job.
