Lawyers with energy practices have been hammered with client calls in the few days since Donald Trump was inaugurated as president with questions about how a barrage of energy-related executive orders may affect their business.

According to a number of Big Law lawyers at firms with extensive energy practices, it's too soon to determine how the executive orders Trump signed in these early days of his second presidency will impact the energy business, but the lawyers are nonetheless parsing through the wording of the orders that affect projects across the energy spectrum.
