The requirements remain in place, Diversity Lab's founder and CEO said, amid other recent changes to the site's language on DEI.

- Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Certification requires participating law firms to consider lawyers from underrepresented groups at a rate of at least 30% for 75% of leadership roles.
- However, the group removed the candidate pool requirement from its Mansfield Certification webpage at some point after Jan. 12.
- Other recent changes to the group’s website coincided with a predicted shift in how DEI is marketed under the Trump administration.
- Founder and CEO Caren Ulrich Stacy described the changes as "normal website refinements" and clarified that the requirements remain in place.
Diversity Lab has altered some of the language on the Mansfield Certification website, removing references to minimum thresholds for minority candidates along with other diversity-centered verbiage.
The changes coincide with predictions by DEI professionals and consultants that law firms de-emphasize language perceived as divisive to avoid being targeted by an anti-DEI Trump administration.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
