Lateral partner hiring across the Am Law 100 increased in 2024 over the previous year, with Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C., registering the most activity, according to data shared with The American Lawyer.
Findings by Aspire Legal Search Group, which are based on data compiled by law firm intelligence company Firm Prospects, shows that 2024 was 9% more active than the prior year and the third most active year since 2020 with regard to lateral partner moves in the Am Law 100.
