Several law firms are ramping up their immigration law expertise and expanding their scope, pulling together practices and resources across the firm, to help clients navigate a flurry of new orders under the new Trump administration.
Amid confusion and uncertainty related to Trump’s orders over the border, visas, and birthright citizenship, law firm partners say they’re seeing a spike in inquiries from corporate clients. The inquiries are hitting even those law firms that don’t offer immigration law as a core service, but firms are seizing on the opportunities to become more indispensable to key clients.
