Teflon Allegations Fail to Stick: Bartlit Beck Secures End of Consumer Fraud MDL for DuPont

In 22 class actions, plaintiffs claimed DuPont falsely marketed Teflon as safe when it knew or should have known that it wasn't. They claimed $5 billion in damages, but the Iowa federal district court judge overseeing the MDL denied class certification. Bartlit Beck calls the plaintiffs' decision to drop the cases "the right result."
