Kasowitz lured Cohen and 12 of her colleagues—including six partners—away from 375-lawyer Dickstein Shapiro. Cohen, a former Anderson Kill attorney who’s known for representing clients in disputes against insurance companies, was managing partner of Dickstein’s New York office, which shares a building with Cohen’s new Kasowitz office.
