Pierce O’Donnell is familiar with the art of storytelling.

Not only has the famed litigator taken on high-profile suits for such literary clients as humorist Art Buchwald and novelist Barbara Chase-Riboud, he has written a few stories himself. His collected works include five books, the last of which, 2005′s In Time of War from New Press, explored the phenomenon of German saboteurs at large in America during World War II. Then there’s his screenplay for the movie Home Team about an ex-pro jock who forms a youth soccer team as part of a community service sentence. O’Donnell has also written a yet-to-be-produced play, Socrates on Trial, the first in a trilogy he calls “the defenders of truth series.”
