Traditionally, family law has not been a practice embraced by big firms. Perhaps those firms think that there is more money to be made elsewhere. But a series of recent Page Six–worthy divorce cases may encourage them to rethink that proposition.

Some recent divorce cases have featured the biggest names in the Am Law pantheon. David Boies and Stephen Susman are involved in the ongoing divorce case of Frank and Jamie McCourt, who have been battling for nearly a year over ownership of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Boies of Boies, Schiller & Flexner is one of the attorneys representing Jamie McCourt, while Susman of Susman Godfrey is one of those advising Frank McCourt.
