Proskauer Rose is continuing the expansion of its global transactions practice in Hong Kong with the hire of White & Case partners Seung Chong and Jeremy Leifer. Their recruitment follows the firm’s lateral hiring of corporate finance partner Gene Buttrill from DLA Piper in March.
Chong has already started work in Proskauer’s Hong Kong office. Leifer will take on his new position at an unspecified date following the completion of his notice period at White & Case, he said via email.
