Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, TransAsia Lawyers and Appleby have advised Chinese social-networking company Renren, Inc., on its $855 million initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.
Renren started out in 2005 as a social-networking website targeting elite universities. The company, which like many foreign issuers has incorporated in the Cayman Islands, has grown to become one of China’s largest social-networking sites.
